Chad Ballard

Chad Ballard is the owner of Cherrystone Aqua-Farms and Chincoteague Shellfish Farms in Virginia. He represents the 6th generation of the Ballard family to run the Ballard Fish & Oyster Company, which has been operating continuously since 1895.

Prior to joining the Ballard Fish & Oyster Company, Chad worked as an investment banker for BB&T Capital Markets in Richmond, VA, where he executed mergers and acquisitions and public equity offerings for middle market companies.

Chad is a graduate of the Williams School of Commerce at Washington and Lee University, where he received a B.S. in Business Administration. When Chad is not working he enjoys fishing, cooking, and playing golf.
