Dick Loring
Massachusetts Board Member

Dick Loring represents the Massachusetts Aquaculture Association on the ECSGA Board of Directors. He received his graduate degree in Chemical Engineering from M.I.T. and worked in the imaging industry for 40 years.

Always a "water rat," Dick watched aquaculture begin in Duxbury, Mass. After a 2+ year regulatory process, he received a grant to grow shellfish in 2002, started Duxbay Shellfish Farm and began selling to Island Creek Oysters.

In 2007, Dick received a commercial digger's license for razor clams in Duxbury, which he also sells through Island Creek Oysters.
