Clams Casino

12 littleneck clams   

3 oz chopped green pepper

½ tsp finely chopped garlic

black pepper

grated parmesan

½ oz sherry

12 ¾” squares mozzarella

12 1” squares bacon slices

bread crumbs

chopped parsley

 

Shuck clams, leaving each loosened meat in one shell.

Mix green pepper, garlic, black pepper, grated cheese and sherry.

Place approximately one tsp on each clam.

Top with mozzarella, then bacon.

Dust with breadcrumbs and parsley.

Bake at 450°F for 8-12 min.
